HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HIRE A NANNY?
- Average time is 2-6 weeks. Every family is different & it depends on how much time you have to interview the candidates that are presented to you
WHAT IF IT DOES NOT WORK OUT & I NEED A REPLACEMENT?
- There is a 60-day trial period. Anytime within those 60-days you notify us in writing that you wish to utilize the free replacement offer that is only valid during the trial period we will do our best to assist qualifying families in finding a replacement nanny
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE OF YOUR NANNY CANDIDATES?
- We require all of the nannies to be at least 18 years of age
- We require that all nannies are legal to live & work in the US
- We require that all nannies have at least 3 years childcare experience
- We require all nannies to be willing to relocate
- We require nannies to commit to one full year
- We require the nannies to have a high school diploma or GED
- We require all nannies to be CPR/First aid certified for infants, children & adults
- We may require some younger nannies to obtain a food handlers card so they can cook safe meals
- We require the nannies to provide 3 personal references & 3 childcare references
- We require a clean criminal background
- We require that the nannies love children and have a passion for watching children learn and grow
- Most of the nannies have a driver's license
DO YOU SCREEN YOUR NANNIES?
WHERE DO YOUR NANNIES COME FROM?
- Our nannies come from the United States. We work with all loving, caring, nannies that meet our criteria. We specialize in placing religious nannies
DO I PAY THE NANNY DIRECTLY?
- Nannies are employed by you and should be paid directly by you. Most nannies are paid every Friday or every other Friday. Make sure to discuss with your nanny how & when they will be paid. If you need help setting up payroll, we can refer you to a company that can take care of that for you. GTM Payroll can assist with payroll
WHAT ARE WE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE FOR THE NANNY?
- Nannies must have a private furnished bedroom that has a door and a lock
- Nannies can share a bathroom with the children or use the guest bathroom, but we ask that the nanny has a bathroom separate from the family
- Nannies are provided room & board plus an hourly/weekly compensation
- Salaries range from nanny to nanny based on several factors including but not limited to age, location, years of live-in nanny experience, college degree, overall childcare experience, any other relevant experience etc...
- Nanny must be paid according to your state laws for a live-in nanny
- Nanny is provided a one-way ticket to the family home at the beginning of the agreement & a ticket home when it's time for her to go
- If you take the nanny with you on vacation, she needs her own space just like at home. She may share a room with the children, but not the adult males
- Nannies love to be appreciated so if you want to reward them with gift cards, dinner, or even send them to get a pedicure, your nanny would greatly appreciate it, but it's not required
HOW MANY HOURS CAN MY NANNY WORK?
- Most nannies work an average of 40-45 hours a week. Your nanny can work more with the appropriate compensation as long as she is in agreement. Make sure to talk about hours and salary when interviewing the candidates
